Doing what’s right for our cattle and land is the Meyer way. It produces the healthiest animals and best tasting beef available. Some “natural” beef programs allow the use of antibiotics and added hormones and will discontinue usage just long enough to appear natural. That’s not the case at Meyer Natural Angus. When we say natural, we mean truly natural — with no compromises. Here’s our definition of natural.

No Hormones/Antibiotics

Our cattle are never given any form of hormones or antibiotics. We allow our animals to mature slowly for optimal tenderness and marbling.

Certified Humane

Meyer Natural Angus is the only major beef company to receive “Certified Humane” designation from the Humane Farm Animal Care program. Required standards include that cattle be raised with shelter, sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviors.

Vegetarian Diet

Our cattle are raised on a strictly vegetarian diet. They are given only natural feed and rations, such as pasture grass, hay, grains and legumes, and then finished on a corn-based diet for true corn-fed flavor.

Verified Origins

100% of Meyer Natural Angus cattle can be source and age-verified back to their ranch of origin.  All are born, raised, fed and processed solely in the USA.

Angus Breed

Taste is everything. So we raise Angus cattle, which are known for their superior marbling, juiciness, tenderness, flavor and consistent portion sizing.

USDA Choice and Prime

Our premium quality beef is graded Choice and Prime for the highest degree of marbling, amazing tenderness, juiciness, flavor and fine texture.

Dry Aged

Meyer Natural Angus offers a line of dry-aged products, which combines the best of European and New World aging techniques with modern technology.  The end result is intense natural beef flavor and incredible tenderness.
